The cookies looked sweet but Ethan, ever Eddie's boy, seems more interested in the wine.
I was one of the guests at the briss of Eddie & Pamela's third son, Charlie, and even got the honor of dipping my finger in the wine and holding it in his mouth to suckle on, a mild distraction from the central event of the afternoon.
Charlie's Uncle Seth held him throughout the ceremony. I guess that makes us something like godfathers, I said later to Eddie.
"Not only that," he answered, "you get to pay for his education."
