Walking the Ghostly Gangplank

While Jen & Ellie shopped for shoes, Em & I donned
safety harnesses and made our way up the Ghostly Gangplank,
tucked against the far wall of Mall of America's indoor
amusement park. It's a technicolor ropes course, with the
roller-coasters and funnel-cake stands for scenery instead
of a canopy of trees. I felt pretty secure most of the time,
confident of the cabling, as I walked on ropes and narrow beams 50
feet above the ground. The only moment I felt a little unsteady
was at the highest level, where you can walk out on the gangplank
to ring a bell and call attention to yourself high above the
crowds.
