I had a quick trip to Manhattan, arriving at JFK at 2 a.m. (thank you, June thunderstorms), into meetings at 10, and headed out that afternoon. Meanwhile, my friend Leah, who happened to be in town at the same time, taunted me by sending a cam pic of the right way to be spending a hot and muggy afternoon in New York: in a cafe way downtown, with a chilled glass of rosé.
