I didn't want to leave my family for three weeks to study finance with a group of 30 strangers. But about three days into the program, I'm riding bikes through the spring Dutch countryside with about six new friends, and I ask Susan, the program planner: "Three weeks? Do you get many complaints about that length from people with families?"
She laughed. "I hear some complaints before the program, but I never hear any complaints after."
