I chaperoned Ellie & Emma at skate night, but didn't lace up myself this time. Emily skipped this one, since a bump from reckless fifth graders at last autumn's skate night caused a nasty fall that fractured her arm. (I don't think that had anything to do with my decision, but who knows?)
