It's difficult for us to stop in for dinner at our friends' Jen & Jeff's house, since it's out in Massachusetts. So Jen invited us over for dinner at her brother Liam's house while they visited him in the San Fernando Valley. Liam, Audrey and their nine cats were good sports about hosting a gang of rowdy strangers, even letting the girls decorate their replacement artificial Christmas tree (the cats had destroyed their first one) and producing a sterno-powered indoor S'more making device to follow up the BBQ'd burgers.
