Sonoma Valley Hospital's holiday dinner was held at McArthur Place, a collection of little bungalows tucked among trees and hedges a few blocks from the plaza. We brought the ladies and made an overnight of it, ordering room service for them while we schmoozed with the doctors and nurses.
In the morning, we wandered the grounds in the drizzle, playing big chess and soaking in the jacuzzi before heading into town for some light shopping.
