The top two images are the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, so called because
it was built on the spot where Tsar Alexander III was mortally wounded
by a bomb-throwing assassin in 1881. Below, one of St. Petersburg's 300 bridges,
and St. Isaac's church, a large domed neoclassical church built earlier in the 19th century.
