"Take a Chew"

and Ocean Beach

As if we were taking a victory lap around favorite places before moving south, we took a Saturday to head down to the San Francisco Zoo, to see the grizzly bears, the meerkats, and the lemurs.
We didn't know we would also see the Bottners.
But we were only a few yards into the zoo when we found ourselves closing in on them, Leah pushing a stroller with baby in it, and Lily & Mattias running ahead.
It was a nice surprise. I found myself wondering, 'Could you imagine the stress that would have accompanied setting up such a meeting? Online coordination, texting, rushing to SF.' How nice that it just happened.
