Towards Whitney
Wrightwood & Route 395

So, Em and I headed out on the road, up Cajon Pass to Wrightwood, to spend the first night above 6,000' and offer a gentle sign to our lungs about what was coming. In the morning, we began to carb- and protein-up with chicken-fried steak at the local diner, and then headed up Route 395 towards the Eastern Sierra Ridge.
