Teaching Kids to T.P.
Ellie's 10th Birthday Party

About an hour into Ellie's party, someone decided
it would be fun to t.p. our neighbors' house. Jen managed
to deflect them to our yard, on the condition that we
promised to storm outside and "discover" the mess and
be suitably outraged. But watching their sweet pre-teen
attempts to t.p. -- delicately tearing a few squares off
and laying them on bushes -- we lost our patience and
stormed out instead to show them how to toss a roll of
toilet paper over a high tree branch (and get it stuck
there, too).
