Breakfast at Hof's
Long Beach

Hof's Hut was a favorite of my grandmother's, and
a weekend breakfast at Hof's with her was a tradition
for us when we lived in Seal Beach in the early 1990s.
The local chain
was started by a fellow who had been a radio-control
tower operator during World War II. After the war, he
had started the business with a concessions trailer
on the beach.
Grandma (and Hof) have both been gone a while,
but the tradition of weekend breakfast carries on.
